PAC member turns to her sewing machine
03. April 2020
COVID-19 … What was considered at the beginning as "flu", quickly turned into an extremely contagious virus. Suddenly our world changed drastically, we faced a completely new reality that still requires a lot of adaptability.
We’ve rapidly been informed about the lack of masks within the healthcare sector. As a human being, I thought it was very important to help others and I started sewing mouth masks for retirement homes and home nurses. That way I hope to contribute to bridging this difficult period.
We must now pay particular attention to our families and look for a new way of life. A new way of living with diabetes. A lot of information comes to us, we feel unsafe, we are afraid and still…. Perhaps we should use this period to turn these fears into something positive. It may be time to question ourselves and look for ways to do things differently and better.
Turn to the sun and leave the shadow behind you!
